Age: Seventeen
Looks: Carson is a fairly pretty young woman, though she doesn't flaunt it or use it to her advantage. She's very conservative in the way she dresses, and tries not to show off or wear flashy things. She prefers to blend in, rather than stand out. Her hair is always kept long, and she doesn't remember it ever being shorter than to her shoulders. It's a natural blonde color with darker highlights mixed within, and it's wavy, but not by choice. Sometimes she wishes she had straight hair, but she supposes wavy hair is better than outright curly. Her eyes are a pretty blue green color, with the blue being a bit more prominent. There are flecks of seafoam green mixed within, giving her a different, but fairly pleasing eye shade. Her skin is always tan because of the amount of time she spends outside, and she's muscled and trim because of her fitness activities. She's tall and slim, reaching about five foot seven, and weighing in at one hundred and sixteen pounds. She seems to always smile, and when she does, it reaches all the way to her eyes. Her eyes give away her emotions more often than not, and she tries her best to hide that fact. She's pretty, but doesn't ever admit to that.
Carson wears the clothes that are most comfortable to her. She does have a slightly unique style, but it's nothing that mirrors the richer people around her. She can be found in a pair of skinny jeans or regular jeans, and she'll wear tan pants just as much as the next person. She likes being comfortable, and has a lot of sweatpants and shorts like that. She has large sweatshirts and moer fitted ones, and it just depends what kind of a mood she is in at the time. Carson has all of her uniforms from her past sport teams, and wears the jerseys when she doesn't care what she looks like the next day. She isn't big on jewelry, but wears a silver locket around her neck at all times. She'll put on a ring or a bracelet, but nothing is as constant as that necklace. It means a lot to her, and that's all that she'll say about it. For shoes, she'll wear flats or sneakers, and has a pair of black high heeled shoes that are her favorite. She won't spend tons of money on clothes, and if she doesn't need it, she won't get it. She doesn't have a lot of money to spend on a lot, so she just gets the necessities. She doesn't own the newest designer brands but that doesn't matter to her. She's her own person, and that's good enough for her.
Activities:
- singing
- playing the guitar
- sketching
- any sport
- reading
Personality: Carson isn't the kind of girl you'll see in the middle of the spotlight. She is shy and reserved, and doesn't like calling attention to herself if she doesn't have to. She's not big on the party crowd, and won't go out of her way to find someone to hang out with. She's just as content to read a good book or go out for a jog to keep herself busy and occupied. She works on her songs and her drawings, and that's good enough for her. She doesn't need a lot, and she doesn't demand anything. She lets people do their own things, but doesn't let them walk all over her. Even though she is shy, she won't let anyone take advantage of her or anyone else around her. She'll stand up for herself and anyone in need, and that shows she's compassionate and loyal. She hates it when people insult and taunt others around them, and she'll be quick to defend. Once you befriend Carson, you'll have a friend for life. But she is quiet. She doesn't talk unless she absolutely needs to, and she doesn't really sing in front of people. She doesn't like showing anyone her drawings, and the only thing she might let people hear is her playing the guitar. But she gets nervous, and tries not to let that bother her too much, even though it does.
Carson is a downright nice person. She doesn't like getting anyone angry or upset at her, and she doesn't like betraying anyone. She'll go out of her way to make sure she pleases everyone and doesn't let anyone down. She's dedicated and loyal, and passionate about every single thing she does. Carson isn't afraid to take risks either. If someone is up to a challenge, she'll do anything new and exciting. She likes to be doing something at all times, and isn't the kind to be sitting around doing nothing. Even when she is sitting down, she's always doing something, no matter what. She needs to be on the go, and needs to be involved. Sports and music are her life, and she puts her whole heart, body, and soul into what she does. She won't start something unless she can finish it, and she isn't a procrastinator. But it's obvious to see she's keeping something a secret. She won't talk about herself or her past, or where she came from. She doesn't like to be reminded of it all, so she keeps it all in the past. It's just easier that way, for everyone.
Family: Father - Andrew Wilson (deceased)
Mother - Maria Wilson (deceased)
Brother - Ryan Wilson (deceased)
Sister - Evelyn Wilson (missing)
Carson was given to her mother and father on a cold day in November. It was the fifteenth to be exact, and it was at eleven o'clock at night. She was premature, and when she came out, she wasn't crying or making any noise, and had to be rushed out. The doctors worked hard on bringing her to, and finally she began to scream. Her mother and father were absolutely relieved to see some movement out of the tiny baby, but they were worried something bad was going to happen to her. They were worried she was going to have a defect or something, but they were pleasantly surprised when the doctor presented them with a healthy baby. She would be the eldest in the family, and she was given a lot of responsibilities as she grew, and her brother and then her sister were brought into the world. She didn't mind at first, but then more and more kept being added to her shoulders. It was hard for her to take, and when she was old enough to start sports, she was glad for them. The practices kept her after school later, and she wouldn't need to take care of her siblings for that amount of time. It was selfish, but it was all that she did at home, and she was beginning to hate it.
But as her brother and sister grew older, they were able to take care of themselves, even though Carson was in charge of them most of the time. She had a really good relationship with her mother and father, even though it was a bit stressed with her father at times. He didn't think she should be involved in all of the atheletics, but Carson told him otherwise more than once. Her mother supported her in everything that she did, and Carson felt herself growing more closer to the woman than her father. But when the girl turned fifteen, the unthinkable happened. Her mother fell one day, and ever since that moment, she didn't feel good. When she was brought to the hospital, it was announced that Maria Wilson had luekemia. Carson was devestated, as were her brother and sister. When Maria finally passed, she gave Carson her silver locket, telling her to keep it safe. Carson promised her she always would. But after that, time continued to move on, even though Carson didn't want it to. Her mother meant the world to her, and now the woman she had thought to be invincible was gone.
The entire family suffered, especially her father. He turned to violence and physical abuse, and Carson couldn't take it. She went out for a run one day when she was sixteen, and her father, in a drunken rage, pulled her brother into the car and went looking for her. Because of his state, he wasn't able to control the vehicle, and they spun out of control on the interstate. They both died instantly on impact with another car, and Carson still hasn't forgiven herself. Her sister went missing after that, and Carson was placed into an orphanage. It didn't take her long to be adopted, but she hated the life. She still hates the life. She has a lot of problems, but keeps them all inside of her. They are her own to bear and to manage, and she won't place them on anyone else. She'll just make sure people know that she's happy with her new family, and in this new camp. Her foster parents sent her here to make her open up a bit more. Things could only get better for the young lady if she met friends and more people to talk to.
Roleplay Sample: Carson laid in bed, her blue green eyes staring up at the ceiling in thought. She couldn't sleep, but that was happening a lot more now lately than ever before. She kept having nightmares about her family, and that never comforted her at all. She missed her mother and her brother, and she would give anything to give them back. The young woman hated her father, for what he had done to her, and to her siblings. She didn't think she'd ever be able to forgive him and his abusive nature. Carson still didn't know where her sister was though. The girl had been smart to get out, but Carson wished there was a note or something giving her a clue to Evelyn's whereabouts. Letting out a sigh of frustration, she turned over to lay on her stomach, but realized she wasn't going to fall asleep anyway she laid in bed. Sitting up quickly, she punched the pillows, and then hurried over to her dresser. Pulling on a pair of jeans, she got a sweatshirt and put it on over her white cami. She just needed to go for a walk. That was all. Then she'd feel a whole lot better and more at peace than now. Shaking her head a little, she reached beneath her bed for the adidas sneakers she had just thrown there. Tying them up, she stood and grabbed her phone, then snuck out down the stairs and out the back door. She just need fresh air, that was all.
The young woman allowed herself to start jogging through the backyard. Reaching the fence, she began climbing it, knowing it was the only way she could escape out of here without being noticed. She did it as quietly as possible, and was soon safely over the other side. And then she heard it. Her foster mother's voice ringing through the air, yelling her name and probably waking the neighbors. That was a good idea Janet. Carson stayed where she was, crouching down on the other side of the white washed fence. When Janet's voice finally died down, Carson felt the vibration in her pocket. Rolling her eyes, she fished out her phone and saw the woman's number running across the screen. She wasn't going home now. Standing, she hurried to the front, keeping low so Janet and Jim couldn't see her. She started running as soon as possible, getting as far away from the house as humanly possible. Why couldn't they just understand that she needed time alone? She needed to work through her problems by herself and on her own. Someday they'd figure it out, but she wasn't sure when that would be. Carson wished it would be soon though.[/ul][/blockquote]
